Jesus calls us to follow Him - not just on Sundays, but in every part of life.
Following Jesus shapes how we live, serve, work, lead and love the people around us. God calls His people to make disciples, share the Gospel and demonstrate His love through both words and action.
Let’s Follow exists to help people respond to that call.
Through outreach, discipleship, practical service and mission opportunities, we seek to point people to Jesus, help believers grow in their faith, and equip disciples to make disciples - all for the glory of God.
“For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake.”
2 Corinthians 4:5
We are simply a family seeking to follow Jesus faithfully and steward what He has entrusted to us. We don't have everything figured out, but we want our lives, our family and our work to point people towards Christ.
Through every season, one conviction has remained: Jesus didn't simply call us to believe in Him. He called us to follow Him - and to help others do the same.
Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. Mark 8:34 (NIV)
Where the Calling Began
Durban is where our story began. We met while Ernest was in Bible College and became active members of Redemption Point Church, where our passion for missions was strengthened and our calling to the nations took root.
Where We Learned to Serve
In 2019, we moved to Lesotho to serve as missionaries. Over nearly four years, we lived first in a suburb, then a remote village, and then a busy town - sharing the Gospel, learning Sesotho, and embracing a new culture.
Where God Planted Us
Since returning to South Africa in 2023, Bethlehem has become home. Here we've found new opportunities to invest in young people, serve vulnerable communities, disciple others and continue supporting the work in Lesotho.
Where We're Serving and Growing
In early 2026, Ernest completed his Discipleship Training School and joined the international missions organization, Youth With A Mission. We continue serving alongside AfroLatins, formerly YWAM Bethlehem, where we have been involved in ministry since January 2025.
This partnership gives us opportunities to welcome international teams and serve vulnerable communities in Bethlehem through restoration and hope.
Our heart is to see disciples who make disciples - and a home base where that can happen every single day.
We would love for you to be part of it!
God has been faithful in expanding the ministry from its humble beginnings. As a registered Non-Profit Company, Let's Follow is led by three appointed directors who help guide, oversee, and steward the vision God has placed on our hearts:
Sandile is a Garment Designer by profession and has faithfully seved at his local church since 2009. God has given him a passion for excellence and a growing heart for missions. He desires to use his gifts to serve Christ and others.
Jon is the Managing Director of Neptun Boot and has been serving in missions in Lesotho since 2003. God has given him opportunties to lead teams, make disciples, develop churches and build infrastructure. He desires to continue using his experience to serve Christ and advance the Gospel.
Since 2019, Ernest has had the privilege of serving God through teaching and evangelism in Lesotho and Bethlehem. After studying through the Christian Bible Institute, God deepened his passion for His Word and for helping others grow in their faith.
Whether serving on the ground or providing leadership and oversight, our team is united in one goal: helping people encounter Jesus and grow as lifelong disciples.
“I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.” 1 Corinthians 3:6–7
Over the years, God has led our family through different seasons of ministry. In past years, we produced children's discipleship videos to share the gospel with young hearts. While our current focus is on family-led missions across Southern Africa as a registered NPC, we invite you to browse some of our past creative media efforts below.
